Overview

Are you multi-skilled or mechanically biased engineer looking for an exciting new role? Do you hold a formal engineering qualification? SUCCESSFUL EUROPE-WIDE COMPANY: A globally known business with a large UK operation servicing retail, warehousing and logistics businesses, group owned and independent hotels and the NHS. This company have over 40 sites in the UK and are investing heavily in their engineering teams. THE OPPORTUNITY: You will be responsible for preventative maintenance and breakdown repair of production machinery including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, motors, 3 & single phase systems and pumps. The company will train and develop you if you have any skill gaps in your knowledge, you will also be involved with increasing the output of the site by working towards a LEAN manufacturing standards. This role is working a continental shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off (alternating days and nights) THE CANDIDATE : Must hold a formal engineering qualification to be considered for this position. This company has an excellent record recruiting candidates from other maintenance engineer roles including ex-forces engineers as well as engineers from production / manufacturing environments.
