CAD/CAM/CNC Programmer Proactive Personnel are recruiting a CAD CAM Programmer for clients that are a well-established architectural manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have experience of using CAD CAM packages working in both 2 and 3D . Ideally the candidate would have strong understanding of architectural metalwork and cladding systems. Role: Undertake all aspects of creating part drawings from Customer assembly drawings · Interpretation of customers enquires from engineering drawings Developing blanks from drawings and converting them into CNC Programs for turret punch and CNC router · Maintaining and developing good working relationships with customers and work colleagues Able to prepare material take-offs and manufacturing schedules from engineering drawings Skills/Experience Required: Previous experience working within the architectural fabrication industry or commercial construction industry is essential; A minimum of three years’ experience working within the manufacturing or engineering services industry Good technical understanding of Engineering drawings · Knowledge and experience with 2D design software Ability to work as a team member, or on own initiative; Ability to communicate effectively; Excellent organisational skills Monday – Friday 37.5 hours Salary £25-£28k (negotiable) 28 days holiday including banks Pension Onsite parking If you would like to know more or you are interested please apply or call Antony on 0161 661 8000 This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89652040
