Overview

Electrical Design Engineer Location: Radstock. Salary: Competitive. Duration: Permanent. Benefits: Health & life assurance, company pension, etc. Our client, a nationwide leader in the water & waste industry urgently requires a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Radstock. The role offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of commercial and industrial clients in the water treatment, quarrying, nuclear and waste recycling sectors. The role To carry out detailed installation design for existing modifications and new installations. Complete cable installation designs, including cable schedules, Amtech cable calculations, hook up drawings, SLD’s, tray/ladder sizing and some lighting design. To gain client requirements and create specifications for projects. Work alongside the Project Manager and Design Manager to ensure the project designs are running to client requirements and are compliant. Ensure the integrity of a design through Technical Design Calculations, Material Research and awareness of modern production techniques. Cost Effectiveness. To produce all necessary production and assembly drawings, using 2D drawing CAD system. To communicate accurately with other stakeholders throughout the project from concept through to completion. To Liaise with the end client to ensure that they have a full understanding of the progress of the project.
