Electronic Design Engineering Manager
Overview
The role involves: Providing line management and strong leadership of the electronic engineering team Ownership of electronic engineering processes Working with Project Engineers to ensure that engineering projects are suitably resourced for. Working with the Engineering Director and other senior colleagues to develop the product development strategy On-going development of the companies wide range of electronics systems Designing of a wide range of RF, low voltage analogue and digital electronic assemblies Providing design support of the companies legacy products Undertaking product documentation and testing Being the technical lead for projects of any size Ensuring a safe system of work is in place for the Electronics R&D lab Occasional UK and International travel may be required to support trials and customer activities Requirements: Minimum of degree or equivalent, in relevant fields or similar qualification dependent on experience. Experience in the design of electronic products is essential Good working knowledge of PCB and component level circuit design is required Hands on experience of electronic test and measurement equipment is required Experience managing a team is essential Must be competent in technical report writing A high level of competency using Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint & Project is essential Experience using PADS and Easy PC for PCB design is desirable If you think you are a good fit for the role, great Click 'Apply' and if you are shortlisted we will be in touch shortly for a confidential chat.
