Overview

Due to company expansion an excellent opportunity has arisen for a HR Manager to join this Online Retail brand based in their head office in Central London Reporting into the HR Director this position is to cover the full HR Generalist function within the business. The company is embarking on a 3-year expansion plan where they’re planning to double their turnover and develop processes to compliment this Your role will be to support, guide and challenge business leaders with the HR agenda and be able to apply an understanding of the business to develop action plans. Your role will also involve process improvement and be able to review the HR function on areas such as turnover, vacancies, employee engagement and proactively address these Key responsibilities are Taking full ownership of the day to day running of the HR Function in a Generalist role Playing a key role in the recruitment (direct and through agency) of hiring across all teams in this growing business Planning long term programs re. talent sourcing, learning and development, retention and succession plans Develop, implements and administer office systems, policies and procedures to support effective people management Liaise with payroll on any changes and making sure they’re aware of an changes in personnel Maintain good level of market knowledge in terms of remuneration and benefits and manager the company’s employee benefits plan and recognition scheme Lead talent management initiatives which focus on career branding, attracting, recruiting and developing talent Manage the recruitment strategy, including the employee value proposition Supporting organisational change, taking a leading role with any reorganisations Ensuring that the HR management platform (People HR) is up to date Measuring performance and rewarding whilst also controlling people costs Manage a range of employee relations issues, up to and including dismissal Advise and coach Managers on performance management issues Advise and coach Managers on the application of HR policy Have a thorough understanding of employment law; with the ability to apply its principles in a commercial business environment. Support and deliver inductions for new starters. Manage the on-boarding and also the off-boarding process To Be considered for this position, my client would like someone who is proficient on these areas of experience and qualification 1) Highly competent with proven experience working at executive level 2) CIPD Level 5 or 7 3) Solid knowledge of office processes and procedures 4) Solid experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 5) Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
