Overview

Spire Healthcare is a leading independent hospital group that has been putting patients at the heart of everything we do for over 40 years. We have 39 hospitals, 10 clinics and a Specialist Cancer Care Centre across England, Wales and Scotland. Reporting to the Group Risk Officer, you will be responsible for promoting best practice at a number of our hospitals to highlight and educate our hospital teams on the best ways to manage risk across clinical and non-clinical teams. Duties and responsibilities Providing risk management expertise and guidance (within a clear framework) that connects hospital, strategic and operational risk management, quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement with overall hospital governance Working in partnership with a number of teams (Clinical Governance, Health & Safety etc.) to ensure that the strategy is delivered to ensure risks are identified and managed consistently across the Group Working closely with corporate teams to ensure internal assurance processes (CQC inspections etc.) Training in Risk Management and the Datix Risk Register module, support and ad-hoc reporting requirements Who we're looking for Experience of risk assurance in a healthcare setting Knowledge of Datix Risk Register module and associated modules Ability to work autonomously across numerous sites Excellent relationship building and communication skills are essential Benefits We offer employees a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options ‘Spire for you’ reward platform - discount and cashback for over 1000 retailers Free Bupa wellness screening Private medical insurance Life assurance Please see the attached benefits leaflet for more information We commit to our employees well-being through work life balance, on-going development, support and reward.
