We have an excellent reputation for great service and are now seeking an enthusiastic technically minded individual to join us as a permanent Field Team Leader. As a member of our team you will be based in the field and benefit from a Company Car, Fuel Card, full uniform plus additional Company benefits and overtime. As a Field Team Leader , you will have experience of managing a team of Field based engineers, ensuring the engineers operate efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship. A full UK driving licence is essential. Field Team Leader Responsibilities will include: · Complete engineer one-2-ones to highlight engineer KPI performance Identify engineer training requirements to ensure full utilisation Maintain engineer stock control by way of stock audits to ensure that stock levels remain at a high level Support all new engineers through their probationary period to ensure all relevant training has been delivered and understood Proactively ensure that all shift rotas are implemented to ensure that any resource requirements are maintained to the identified level Regular communication by the means of telephone calls, conference calls, and team meetings to ensure that all updates are communicated effectively Complete engineer return to work interviews to gain clarity into sickness issues to maintain low sickness and absence levels in accordance with the company sickness absence process Liaise with the planning team to deliver efficient call scheduling Act as a support mechanism to all engineers, providing first line support Complete breakfix calls in such periods as peak to ensure high service level agreements are maintained On occasions, you will be required to attend relevant business training held at Head Office, which may include overnight stays Complete an on-call weekend team leader rota The Ideal Candidate will have: An interactive and team driven approach Strong planning and organising ability Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the company, both verbal and written Ability to work in a high-pressure environment dealing with customers with non-standard working hours Apply now This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89805402
