Graduate Electronics Engineer - Complex R&D - Cambridge An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Engineering Graduate to join a fledging research and development team with a company that aims to bring a step-change to their market. You will be utilising your research and development experience gained in academia to come up with novel solutions to complex engineering problems on the company's laboratory instrumentation technology. You will be joining a team of physicists and mechanical engineers with the sole aim of solving real-world engineering problems. Although this is a graduate role you will have the opportunity to work on the company's products from day one and help shape future research and development pipelines, whilst being mentored by world-class engineers. If successful you will be developing real-time electronics and control systems and designing analogue and digital circuits that interface with sensors and actuators. This means that your day-to-day will involve electronics design, microcontroller programming, testing and possible FPGA design. The team is agile and flexible, and you may also be working on different aspects to the technology. It is a tight-knit team where personality and work ethic are extremely important. The company are striving for a step-change in the medical devices market and are deeply passionate about this mission. To be considered for the Graduate Electronics Engineer position you will need to have a passion for electronics and research coupled with a strong and relevant academic record. Coding knowledge in C or Python is advantageous as is embedded software exposure.
