Overview
A CAD Technician with Construction sector experience required by a expanding specialist Contractor that delivers a range of projects incorporating Architectural Metal work, Architectural Glazing and Facades. Working on a range of projects within the Commercial Office and Light Industrial sector as a CAD Technician you will be producing a range of As Built Drawings using CAD . You may also be required to develop pre fabrication drawings for the Engineering team . The business are looking for an individual capable of developing further their Design skills and becoming a key member of the pre-construction and Project Management team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of producing construction drawings using Auto CAD, ideally incorporating some structural designs. The candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to work as part of a team and autonomously as required. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary, pension and 23days annual leave. They will also benefit from ongoing training and development.
