Overview

Our well established public sector client is currently looking for a number of Lead Developers (Java and/or Python) contractors on a 6 month initial basis. Our client works alongside other large and well established organisations. They use some of the most advanced technology and are passionate about what they do. · Exeter - 6 month initial contract- extensions and other opportunities likely to arise. · £700 per day inside IR35 Umbrella £619PD - LTD Company Inside IR35 · Lead Developer - Java / Python The successful Lead Developer will be running a new team and will help develop the team through coaching and mentoring, will help improve processes and reduce the time needed to get to production through embedding continuous integration and ensuring automated testing is in place. The Successful Developer should have the following skills, experience and knowledge: · Demonstrable programming experience in Java or Python. · Experience using cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS). · Experience leading development teams, both remotely and on site · Ability to discuss practices, such as refactoring, TDD and pair programming, and their benefits · Mentoring developers on improved ways of doing things.
