Overview
You are a finalist or recently qualified Accountant looking for a challenge where you can gain some valuable experience to develop further. You want to play a key role to the expansion plans of the business with exposure to the management team, operations and external parties. You class yourself as a Financial Accountant capable and ready to work in a supported but autonomous role, ready to 'own' and take accountability as in this role you will be a key contributor to the company’s future success. You will support the core financial activity across the Group as Financial Accountant. Job Description Prepare accurate statutory accounts for all group companies Ensure year end statutory accounts are accurately prepared in a timely manner Support the wider business with accounting requirements and a robust control environment Prepare and consolidate the management accounts Inter-company processes and reconciliation Balance sheet reconciliation and reporting Key member of project teams as required, e.g. implementation of a new finance system Provide support for VAT and tax processes Desired Skills & Experience Proven experience in preparing statutory accounts for small companies Have an excellent understanding of internal control Reconciliation and problem solving skills Excellent communicator verbally and in writing Able to work autonomously whilst also being a collaborative and supportive team player Be adaptable in a changing environment
