Overview
We are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer for Audit and Process Improvement to join our Engineering customer in Greater London. The position is focused on the management of the internal audit programme including the co-ordination of a team of part-time auditors from departments across the business. In addition, the successful applicant will help various functions of the business map and improve their operating processes. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Plan and implement the company’s internal audit programme to ensure compliance with external requirements and regulations 2. Undertake and document planned internal audits according to the plan including co-ordination and support of team of internal auditors 3. Undertake product or process audits in response to any notified quality issues. 4. Support internal departments to map and improve their operating processes 5. Maintain a database of audit and improvement actions and notify to senior management to aid prioritisation activities. 6. Preparation and hosting of external audits from customers and third party agencies and management of responses to these audits. 7. Prepare data to illustrate relevant company quality metrics, and sign off on new issue drawings as part of a team of QA representatives. 8.Monitor review dates on company departmental procedures to ensure mandatory review periods by owners are respected
