Overview

Site Engineers, Groundworks, RC. New £19m residential RC scheme. Setting out, QA; good AutoCAD, communication / instrument skills. Relevant CSCS. Wood Green. Additional new requirements for capable Site Engineers. New scheme, to work with other Engineers providing line and level for all build elements. Negotiable £210 - £240 / shift, contract basis Experienced in Groundworks & RC frames, you should be capable of working on your own or with minimal supervision. You must be competent in using AutoCAD Initially working on Pile caps and ground-beams, then onto Groundworks and following on to Reinforced Concrete structures, you will be able to read and understand Construction drawings and specifications. You will be able to motivate and encourage as well as providing accurate and concise information to the site workforce. You will be providing technical information and setting out details, so must have clear oral and written communication skills. The Contractor has a large number of high-profile projects in London and the south-east. They have a turnover exceeding £120m so are a major player in the Groundworks and RC frame sector. With 5 new projects starting within 2-3 months they have plenty of opportunities for young enthusiastic Engineers who are keen to advance their careers. Remuneration is based on a negotiable hourly rate of £210 - £240 per shift on a self-employed basis. Qualified in Civil Engineering, ideally with a Degree, you must be CSCS carded and ideally with SMSTS; you are likely to have a minimum of 2-3 years working on similar projects in the UK over the last few years.
