Overview

Spire Murrayfield in Edinburgh have an opportunity for a full time Clinical Support Worker or Health Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. Within this role you will be supporting our Nurses and Consultants in providing excellent care to our patients. This is a full time role where you will work 3 shifts per week, including one week of night shift in every four. Murrayfield hospital was established as a purpose built hospital in 1984, conveniently located in the west of Edinburgh. In 2015 our consulting rooms had a £1 million refurbishment. In 2010 we opened Shawfair Park Hospital, a day case facility, based in south east Edinburgh. Each of our hospitals practice some of the most advanced treatments supported by the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading edge surgical procedures and cancer care. Caring for our patients is at the heart of what we do. We provide expert medical care in a modern, well-equipped environment for all of our patients Duties and responsibilities You will be required to assist our Clinical team in providing exemplary Care within the hospital, whilst providing Healthcare Assistance to our Nursing team - this will include routine tasks related to the delivery of care to ensure our patient's health and well-being. You will move and set up diagnostic equipment and other resources, as well as accompanying patients to their procedures. You will assist patients to theatre, provide personal care, maintain cleanliness of the environment and be involved in stock takes. You will also be part of a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security and infection control, working as part of a team in the development of knowledge Who we're looking for As an experienced HCA, you will be fundamental in providing Healthcare Support to our Nursing Team to ensure patients receive the best possible personal care. Previous experience within healthcare Previous experience working in a hospital setting Must be accurate and have good attention to detail.
