Job description Due to rapid growth and recent acquisitions, HCRG Ltd are now one of the largest recruitment agencies in the UK. As a result, and to drive future expansion plans, we are now recruiting two experienced Bid Writers with backgrounds from the health and social care, homecare, educational and/or healthcare temporary staffing sectors to join our winning team Reporting to the Senior Bid Manager, and with optional base locations of Merseyside (Prescot), Staffordshire or London , the successful candidate will be required to write bids for high value projects by gaining a detailed understanding of the company's services to ensure accurate proposals are formulated against specification requirements. The core elements of a Bid Writer's role are: Producing PQQ and ITT submissions, within target deadlines; Formatting and proof-reading bid applications and supporting material prior to referral for review and approval to Seniors; Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant and external minimum, regulatory, and best practice requirements across the recruitment and temporary supply markets Working as a team and closely evaluating bid applications to understand requirements; Understanding and tailoring bid applications appropriately, creating bespoke responses; Manage several bid projects at any one time; Working/engaging with other Management Professionals/stakeholders for specialist or commercial information and integration within proposals; Managing and maintaining Bid Knowledge Library (electronically). We're looking for a driven, meticulous individual who has the below skills: Essential Previous experience in a bid/tendering/procurement role formulating response Excellent research, administrative and MS Office skills, particularly word and power-point Excellent communication skills The ability to articulate a technical proposal in writing Good organisational and time management skills Experience of working to deadlines Desirable Previous experience from the educational and/or healthcare temporary staffing sectors (or related organisations) Willingness to attend training courses to further understanding of core business areas The package: £25K-£30K per annum dependent on experience Service-related annual leave Birthday leave HCRG is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications regardless of sex, age, race, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, religion and belief, pregnancy and maternity or disability.
