Overview
Evolve’s multi-award winning financial services client have a new permanent IT Security Engineering position based in their Edinburgh or Glasgow city centre offices. The position will provide extensive support across the company and will be a subject matter expert on network and security infrastructure. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams ranging from development to infrastructure and support. Our client invests heavily in the latest technology so this role will have ongoing learning and development opportunities as well as the chance to really work at the forefront of enterprise scaled tech in the security space. The ideal IT Security Engineer will have the following technical skills and experience: Degree in IT or a related discipline or with equivalent commercial experience A strong depth of knowledge within IT Security, networking, infrastructure and the latest trends An indepth knowledge of Info Sec Management (ISO 27001) Microsoft, Cisco, Checkpoint or Security Certifications would be highly beneficial. 1st class communication and interpersonal skills Firewalls DLP Anti-Virus Vulnerability Management Proxy Server PKI Infrastructure Remote Access/VPN Secure File Transfer Email Gateways Unified Communications (Skype, SIP, AudioCodes) Microsoft (Server, Hyper V, PowerShell, etc) Azure Office 365 You will be an individual who is comfortable articulating complex technical issues to users of all technical levels and will be someone who has a passion for information security.
