Overview
Credit Controller. Based by Birmingham International train station. Salary £22-24k DOE Hays Credit Management is supporting a large corporate organisation, that is going through a lot of growth and transition. Looking to take on a Credit controller with 2 or more years experience to manage and maintain their own ledger, minimising bad debt and risk to the business. Your new role Maintaining professional and friendly relationships both internally with stakeholders and externally with customers is integral to the role. Your key duties and accountabilities include: Pro-active Credit control of your ledger, contacting client before due date, resolving and escalating any queries. Following SLAs and Payment plans to collect any outstanding balances Advising the Credit Manager of any potential risks, either by client or industry sector. Working closely with the billing team to resolve pricing/billing queries. When required put together legal pack to pass onto the debt recovery team. Support the Cash allocation team with any un allocated or misallocated cash What you'll need to succeed 2 years O2C/Credit experience English and maths GCSE Ideally CICM qualified or studying towards Comfortable with Outlook, word and Excel (pivot tables and vlookups a preference) Experience working with ERP systems, SAP is desirable but not essential What you'll get in return 25 days annual leave Study support CICM Competitive salary and a clear career progression plan What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
