The Opportunity: Vital Energi Utilities Limited (VEUL) is one of the UK’s market leaders in delivering centralised community energy projects. As a result of our continuing success we are experiencing rapid and extensive growth in all business sectors; as such we have an exceptional opportunity to offer a position within the growing Operations & Maintenance Department. We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Resource Scheduler/planner to work in our O&M Team based at our London Office. The Company: VEUL is at the forefront of delivering centralised efficient low carbon energy solutions across public/ private residential, retail and commercial sectors throughout the UK. We operate in a rapidly expanding vibrant market for Heat and Power solutions. We design, install, operate, maintain and own environmentally friendly energy generation; and distribution systems. The Role: The successful candidate will effectively plan and schedule Energy and Asset Management team workloads. Key Responsibilities will include: Operations and Maintenance · Work with Team Leaders (TL) to create schedule for planned, preventative maintenance work (PPM) for operations and maintenance (O&M) sites · Work with Contracts Managers (CM) and Quantity Surveyors (QS) to ensure that all parts are available and sub-contractors booked in order to carry out PPM according to schedule · Ensure that all reactive maintenance jobs are assigned to appropriately skilled engineers and are attended to within contracted timescale, based on service level agreement (SLA) within the O&M contract · Update Maximo daily with previous day work from Engineers and chase accordingly · Manage multiple outlook inboxes (Reactive, Commissioning and servicing) · Receiving and saving commissioning certificates on the s/drive and distribute to clients as and when required. · Monitor client/ customer calls dealing with each issue effectively and efficiently · Multiple reactive reports to be distribution internally and externally daily, weekly and monthly where required. · Manage reactive maintenance jobs to ensure they are booked in, attended and closed out in a timely manner. HIU Commissioning · Work with project teams to obtain forward plan and to manage labour requirements for HIU commissioning · Collate HIU commissioning documentation, keep records up-to-date and prepare reports HIU Servicing · Work with CM and QS to understand requirements for HIU servicing within various O&M contracts · Contact residents of properties to advise that HIU servicing is to be carried out, schedule appointments and book in with engineers. · Make appointments and create schedule for O&M engineers to service HIUs · Collate HIU service documentation, keep records up-to-date and prepare reports · Produce and keep up to date an HIU servicing schedule. · Report on HIU servicing status at each site. Metering: · Work with Metering and Billing (M&B) team to obtain forward plan and to manage labour requirements for meter installations · Collate meter installation documentation, keep records up-to-date and prepare reports Stock · Work with O&M Contracts Managers and Engineers to prepare van stock lists.Work with procurement team to procure van stock and ensure that it is replenished as and when required Risk Management · Assist with the preparation of job plans, method statements, risk assessments and work with area leaders to ensure that engineers are fully prepared prior to carrying out any works requiring permit to work Other: · Assist and deal with any queries in a timely manner, ensuring that co-operation is sought from other team members or departments · Carry out any other duties consistent with the responsibilities of your post · Assist with the development of processes and documentation The Person: Skills, Knowledge and Experience: · At least 2 years’ experience in a planning / scheduling role in a similar industry · Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel Other: · A flexible approach to working hours The Package: Competitive Salary (depending upon experience) Contributory Company Pension Scheme Non-contributory death-in-service insurance 33 Days Holiday including BH Applications will be processed within 28 days of receipt.
