Senior Accountant opportunity in SME Business Advisory offering client management responsibilities and career progression within an established North West Accountancy & Advisory Practice. THE COMPANY An established Chartered Accountancy & Advisory Practice with a long history in Lancashire and a reputation for providing high-quality advice to SME's, Owner-Managed businesses and large Corporate Groups. The firm's Directors have an enviable track record of delivering Audit, Accounts, Tax planning, Business Advisory services and Corporate Finance solutions to a wide range of clients. THE OPPORTUNITY A Senior Accountant opportunity has arisen within the firm's SME Business Advisory Team the offering a chance to work closely with business owners and to achieve long-term career development. Working in an experienced team of Accountants, Managers and Directors you will play a key role in delivering Year-End Accounts, Audit services, Monthly / Quarterly Management Accounts, Tax advice and Business Advisory solutions to a portfolio of small businesses. Key duties & responsibilities will include: Preparing Year-End Accounts for sole traders, SME's and larger Owner-Managed businesses Small amount of Audit work on larger clients Producing Management Accounts and Business Analysis Reports for clients seeking growth Providing Tax advice to small business owners VAT Returns, Xero Accounting & Bookkeeping work You will benefit from: Opportunity for career progression in a growing office Attractive salary and benefits package Flexibility in working hours THE PERSON You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following: ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part-Qualified / Qualified By Experience Background within Chartered Accountancy Practice (c.3 - 5 years) Ambition to progress to Manager longer term If you are currently working in a Chartered Accountancy Practice and are seeking an opportunity within a reputable practice offering a great future please contact Alastair McLean at Lucas McLean Recruitment to discuss your options.
