Overview
Children's Support Worker - Permanent - £19,000 - £21,000 Your new company Hays are working with a children's charity who provide specialist provisions for children and young people with a range of complex and challenging needs. Your new role As a residential support worker you will be required to work 40 hours a week supporting children who suffer from: Autism, Learning disabilities, Mental health issues and other needs. It will be your duty to meet these identified needs as outlined in the individuals care plans,whilst participating and monitoring children/young people's care and health. What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be motivated, highly committed and care for the individuals in a professional manner, delivering the highest quality of care for children and young people. You will also need to have previous experience working with young people and be able to adapt quickly to a new setting and team. It is also desirable that you possess a NVQ level 3 in health and social care. Please note individuals who apply will be asked to provide at least 2 social care references.
