DATA ENGINEER GLOBAL MUSIC COMPANY LONDON-CENTRAL £50,000-55,000 BENEFITS A global music producer who produce music for range of platforms are looking to bring on board a skilled Data Engineer looking to take over the reigns on their DWH and ETL work and really own their Data Capability going forward THE COMPANY A music company who produce original content for a range of platforms and client types and a great reputation for composing original, high-quality and authentic content around the world for a range of clients THE ROLE If you were to be successful in your application for this Data Engineer (SQL, ETL, Python, AWS/GCP/Azure, Postgres) your responsibilities would include: Manage a range of data sources and make sure the data platform for analytics is in order and data is being ingested and structured correctly Take ownership going forward of the Data warehousing and BI strategy and road-map Ensure the insight analysts are provided with clean and reliable platformed data Construct and maintain ETL pipelines and take ownership of the key infrastructure making the decisions going forward along with the head of IT on expansion of infrastructure and selection of new tech SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE In order for your application for this Data Engineer (SQL, ETL, Python, AWS/GCP/Azure, Postgres) to be successful you will need; Strong programming ability with SQL and ideally a scripting language like Python Experience with data warehousing development and concepts as well as maintenance and troubleshooting An interest in taking ownership of projects, evangelising data driven culture and a passion for technology Experience with a BI/Data Viz tool (Sisense, Tableau, QLik, Power BI etc) Experience building ETL pipelines and ideally exposure to data ingestion tools like Matillion, stitch, Alteryx etc HOW TO APPLY If you are interested in this Data Engineer (SQL, ETL, Python, AWS/GCP/Azure, Postgres) role please apply via this site.
