Overview
Administrator Administrator Leeds or Reading £18,000 to £23,000 The Company acts, primarily, as a firm of professional trustees to a wide variety of pension schemes, group life trusts and other trust arrangements. We are currently looking for a pro-active Administrator with excellent interpersonal communication and MS Office skills to join our Group Life claims processing team. The successful candidate will be focused on providing a high quality service without significant supervision. They will come from a customer focused background, have experience of dealing with challenging situations and must have high attention to detail. The successful candidate can be based either in our Reading or our Leeds office. Where the Company are appointed as Trustees to manage and administer benefits payable under Death in Service schemes, they are required to carry out a thorough and independent investigation in order to determine beneficiaries. This job description sets out a number of principles and objectives but it is not exhaustive. Primarily the role will be to assist in the processing of Group Life Death in Service claims for a number of clients. This includes: Efficiently processing the team's high volume of ongoing claims Sensitively carrying out an in depth investigation into each case in order to determine potential beneficiaries Using excellent communication skills and sensitivity when dealing with complex cases and challenging conversations, often involving bereaved relatives Ensuring service levels for claims processing are maintained Managing trust bank accounts and claims payment processing Recording and maintaining accurate information for all cases Billing on completion of each claim On occasion you may also be required to assist the Managers and Client Directors in other administrative work: Dealing with phone calls on a wide variety of matters and ensuring a highly professional phone manner at all times Trustee meeting preparation, including creation of meeting packs Booking meeting rooms and arranging conference calls Client billing and budget tracking Working in line with current company processes and policies The suitable candidate will also look to add value, where possible, in respect of: Identifying other ways that we can help our clients and improve what we do Maintaining awareness of the need for, and participating in the process of, new ideas for services and markets Being mindful of the firm's strategy, to be supportive of and to work in a manner consistent with it Ensuring that your work whether client or internal is compliant with rules, regulation, internal and adopted external standards Ensuring that all that we do supports our business objectives of delivering the highest possible service Being innovative and entrepreneurial.
