Overview

THE JOB The Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) Analyst serves as a working as part of the Global Information Security (InfoSec) team to provide timely, accurate and specific information security services to the corporation’s business units, employees, vendors, clients and customers. Information Security is one of the fasting growing areas of Information Technology and the Cyber Security Incident Response Team is Live Nation Entertainment’s response to next generation cyber threats. The primary responsibility of the analyst is to swiftly respond to any actual or suspected activity that could undermine the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information technology systems at Live Nation entertainment, Inc. The analyst must recognize unauthorized and/or harmful activities and practices, assess the damage that results from those activities, prevent widespread system contamination, and provide effective recovery services. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Receive, assess and address security alerts from multiple sources, including: Anti-Virus, IDS, direct CSIRT emails, and SIEM. Initiate computer incident handling procedures as needed to identify, contain and remediate actual or potential security-related compromises. Conduct analysis of computer security advisories, vulnerability scans, and cyber intelligence threat reports in order to improve the company IT security posture. Proactively study and detect threats to the corporation. Perform phishing, spam, malware or forensic analysis as part of the incident management process. Create and update documentation related to security incidents, security controls and PCI. Perform sensitive security investigations in a manner consistent with industry standards with regards to ?computer and network forensics services. Document all actions related to CSIRT activity in support of regular reporting. Provide live guidance and instruction to IT and Technology employees, contractors and agents involved in ?working on an incident. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Experience or keen interest in IT Infrastructure/network security. Experience or keen interest in IT Security-related standards and technologies. Experience or keen interest in working with Internet, web, OS and desktop technologies. Knowledge of security tools and paradigms, both offensive and defensive. Ability to examine events from disparate logging sources and develop actionable intelligence to drive investigation, mitigation and resolution efforts. Ability to identify, deconstruct, understand, and address new or previously undetected threats. Ability to work in large global environments spanning multiple time-zones. Must be available for limited travel. Must be available for regular on-call duties outside of normal business hours. Proficiency working with recognized IT Security-related standards and technologies. YOU (BEHAVIOURAL REQUIREMENTS) The Analyst, Cyber Security Incident Response Team must be able to communicate clearly and transparently, orally or in writing with employees at every level of the company. The analyst must work collaboratively on projects with technical and non-technical colleagues in different business units and different countries. The analyst must be prepared to take action on behalf of the Information Security Team, employ dynamic and innovative solutions, and act in the best interest of Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. at all times. The Analyst, Cyber Security Incident Response Team will have access to systems and data that exceed the access of most senior executives. As such, the analyst must exhibit a high level of integrity and will be held accountable if the bestowed trust is ever misused or abused.
