Overview
Do you have a minimum of 1 year's events fundraising experience? Are you looking to develop your skills further whilst working for a rewarding charity? I am currently working closely with my client based in South East London who are seeking an experienced Events professional to join their expanding team. Reporting directly to the Senior Events Fundraiser you will be working within a team of 6 others with the goal of raising £1 million annually. Role and responsibility: Support the efficient operation of the Fundraising team Lead a series of annual events Assist in developing a strong stewardship programme Oversee a network of volunteers Attend meetings and events as a representative of the charity Managing budgets for events Producing detailed event management plans Liaise with external stakeholders ie. Police, Council etc Ensuring administrative tasks are up to date and all information is accurately recorded Due to the nature of the role some weekend and evening work will be required.
