Overview
Finance Director Successful, high growth, entrepreneurial and well-established commercial law firm requires Finance Director to lead its accounting function. You’ll join an agile and dynamic team that’s invested significantly in its infrastructure and activity, showing the commitment to continuous development of a forward-thinking business. As Finance Director, responsible for a friendly, close knit and proactive team, you’ll work closely with Partners in providing a compliant, efficient and comprehensive service including: Ensuring financial and regulatory compliance, including SRA Accounts Rules Supporting partners, managers and staff focussing on profitability, budgeting, forecasting and provision of management information Managing relationships with extra suppliers and third parties such as regulators, banks, HMRC and auditors Development of staff, systems and processes Contributing to strategy and the firm’s achievement of short, medium and long term goals As Finance Director you’ll need: Recent successful experience as a commercially-oriented Finance Director, Head of Finance, Chief Accountant or Financial Controller gained within the Legal Sector Full knowledge and practical experience of Solicitors Regulation Authority Accounts Rules Strong leadership and managerial skills A cooperative team and quality, customer focussed approach Rewards: £75,000 to £90,000 plus benefits Please note: High levels of interest mean we will only contact you if your application is shortlisted and this will happen within five working days.
