Overview
The Company. Hertfordshire based family run contractor specialising in office/industrial fit out and refurbishment looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person with good communication skills and preferably an office/administration background and an interest in construction. The role. This will involve working in our head offices at Welham Green primarily within our buying department where you will carry out a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following: Admin support to the department and within the office including filing, shredding, copying, printing and scanning Answering and transferring incoming calls, taking messages and answering queries Taking in/signing for deliveries Liaising with various colleagues on a day to day basis Ad-hoc administration tasks as assigned from time to time The role offers the successful applicant the opportunity to learn and progress within the buying team in time so an interest/willingness to learn and a desire to take on new tasks is a must. The individual. You should be customer focused with previous experience working in a busy office environment. You must be a conscientious individual who is capable of working unsupervised as well as being willing to work as part of a team. You will have a good attention to detail and a desire to learn. You must be punctual and presentable with a good telephone manner and have a can-do attitude. Minimum requirements for the role - individuals must be able to use the following to a good standard Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel You must also hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
