Overview

Our client has a position for Group Financial Controller or Finance Director to be responsible for all aspects of financial control across 3 sites in the Greater Manchester area. This is a 'hands on' position which requires experience of CDK Drive/Kerridge Rev 8 Key Tasks: Management and forecasting of company cashflow on a rolling 3 month basis Production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts within 7 working days Submission of manufacturer composites Ensure balance sheet reconciiations are completed on a monthly basis identifying and actioning any areas of concern. Process Monthly Payroll and Auto Enrolment Ensure compliance with all VAT and PAYE obligations Drive optimum performance from group IT systems Manage the CDK Drive system across the group Act as financial business partner to the Brand Managers Proactively identify areas of potential improvement throughout the business. Preparation of annual budget and rolling forecasts along with associated cash flow projections Drive budget requirements through operational teams alongside Head of group operations in order to deliver performance to budget Management of funding providers including banks, finance houses and stocking facilities Ensure financial compliance with Brand requirements and standards Maintenance of appropriate insurances Ensure FCA and other regulatory compliance including health and safety related matters. Maintain and improve effective internal controls Ensure effective management of working capital, including vehicle stocks and debtors Support a culture of continuous business improvement within the group Collaborate with the Head of group operations to propose group annual budgets and performance KPIs to the board Highlight all potential business risk to the board upon identification Identify opportunities to streamline business process and systems across the group Develop and disseminate group financial best practice Research and help implement cost savings across the group You will manage customer relationships, provide excellent customer service, team working and lead others.
