Overview

Position: Technical Support Team Lead Location: Cambridge Type: Permanent Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 p/a outstanding benefits TEC Partners are working with an outstanding organisation based in Central Cambridge This is an excellent company to work for - well-known for promoting internal career progression and for their office environment. We are assisting our client to appoint a Technical Support Team Lead with extensive, commercial experience of working in similar roles. You will primarily be responsible for the following: - Leading a team of 6 Support Engineers - Managing the escalations from the team - SLA management - Performance reporting - Applying and adopting modern methods and practices - Adhering to financial and other regulatory restrictions/frameworks Please note - the above is just a snapshot of the requirement. The successful candidate will be the one who has proven success in the responsibilities as listed above and has skills/experience in the following: - Exceptional communications with internal and external key stakeholders - Proven success in a management/team lead role - Proven success in a demanding, troubleshooting/analytical position - A customer-service focused work ethic - Not just capable of working with tech but enthusiastic about it too Candidates will be required to have experience in as many of the following as possible: Windows Server SQL Virtualisation: Hyper V/VMware IIS/Apache Scripting/programming in any language We will be assisting our client in interviewing and appointing someone in this position ASAP.
