Overview

Due to expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor for this well established and successful fashion retail brand. Based in the heart of Central London. Reporting into the HR Manager, the key purpose of the role is to provide an effective, efficient and proactive HR service, partnering with line managers to support all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Main Duties and Responsibilities will include… To be considered for this position you will need to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HR Generalist role covering all the key areas of employee relations, disciplinary/grievance and staff retention. You will be tasked with supporting the Senior HR Manager in the development and implementation of HR related projects, effective implementation of agreed strategy to develop and improve people related practices across HQ and global retail. Employee Relations To undertake employee investigations, creating and executing the investigation plan, preparing documentation and the investigation report, and hosting meetings as required. To become the designated HR 'expert’ on designated international areas as required, working with relevant third-party legal advisors, To be an expert in implementing the company’s employee relations procedures Providing support on employee relations issues across global retail and HQ as required. To lead employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance hearings as required, and within designated timeframes. Client Relations To provide and maintain day to day Human Resources functions, ensuring service is provided in an accurate and timely manner, complying with internal processes and polices, and meeting service level agreements. To provide HR support for day to day HR enquiries from employees and managers To specifically take ownership of day to day enquiries and administration within designated regions as allocated, encompassing the full employee lifecycle. This includes the maintenance of the computerised HR system for designated regions, ensuring input is timely, organised and accurate. Foster and manage positive relationships with global third party providers, supporting the completion of payroll processes as required, ensuring that the relevant information in relation to changes, starters and leavers, is effectively communicated To ensure employees have completed the company’s global retail/HQ induction programme and leaving employee protocol, ensuring the relevant documentation is returned to HR within good time. Experience Required… Experience within a generalist HR role (Essential) Proven track record of successfully contributing to and implementing HR projects (Essential) Experience of international HR (Desirable) Effective relationship building with third party providers and remote workforces (Essential) Experience in a stand-alone HR management role or within a role within a small HR team (Essential) Good rounded Employment Law knowledge (Essential) Ability to work at all levels of the organisation and develop Developing relationships throughout the business to foster two-way communications (Essential) Desired Qualifications General certificate of education (GCSE) or advanced level (A Level) (Essential) Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Desirable) Professional CIPD Qualification (Level 5-Desirable) Able to demonstrate excellent emotional intelligence (Essential)
