Overview
Full-time, permanent, Finance Administrator, £20,000 - £23,000, Bristol. Your new company An international law firm are seeking a permanent, full-time Finance Administrator to join their Billings team, within the Accounting and Finance department. Your new role As the successful candidate you will work closely with both the wider finance team, internal stakeholders, as well as external clients, to acquire matter and purchase order numbers. You will extract data relating to invoices and upload it to the portal. You will identify rejected invoices and resolve these as quickly as possible, escalating it to more senior team members if necessary. You will update budgetary and accrual data onto the system and monitor the queries mail inbox. You will review invoices and analyse reports to ensure that all invoices are submitted in a timely manner, with any issues resolved. What you'll need to succeed You will preferably have previous experience within a Billings team, more desirably within the legal sector. It is also desirable to have experience working on the Elite Practice Management system, as well as a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel. You will be a great communicator, have a keen eye for detail and be a skilled problem-solver. You will have excellent prioritisation skills, as well as the ability to manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment. You will be comfortable working with and analysing large volumes of data in a timely manner.
