Overview
Excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected independent insurance brokerage situated in the North Leeds area. Our client is very much in growth mode at present and is also keeping an eye on succession planning so this is a really good time to be joining the business. Initially the role will involve joining a great team, providing broking support to the account executives and account directors, assisting them in dealing with a wide variety of commercial cases of all sizes (£5k premium upwards into the £100k’s ). You will be dealing with new business submissions, negotiating with insurers and preparing terms. You will also be speaking to clients on a regular basis to assist with mid-term policy amendments and get involved in negotiating and preparing renewals. There are a number of senior members of staff nearing retirement, so there will be opportunities to progress into a more senior role or to work towards account executive status over the next 18 - 24 months; CII qualifications will be fully supported. This role could appeal to various applicants, we would be happy to hear from ambitious account handlers looking for a home with excellent long-term opportunities.
