Overview
Position: HR & Business Services Director Location: London Salary: £65,000 per annum (upwards) Role: Permanent Farrer Barnes have been exclusively retained to recruit a HR & Business Services Director for a school in London. Our client is an outstanding school based in a very desirable area of London. The school prides itself on providing an award-winning education and first-class pastoral care. They are now looking. This position would suit someone coming from a HR Manager/Director position or perhaps from a School Business Management or Finance position. This role sits on the SLT and is effectively sitting at Vice Principal level. You must be able to lead the school on all HR/Business matters and provide sound guidance to the SLT. We are ideally looking for someone with prior experience of working within the Education sector i.e. Schools, Multi Academy Trust, Colleges or Universities. Preferably we would like someone who is professionally qualified; CIPD, CIMA, ACCA or other professional similar qualification or Degree. As HR & Business Services Director you will play a strategic role in the management of the school and will be responsible for key areas such as: • Business Management • ICT • Site Services • Facilities • Finance • Health & Safety • Staff Training • SLA’s & Contracts • HR As HR & Business Services Director you will also be involved SLT meetings, Governors Meetings, Open Days and Parents Evenings. The standard working week is Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm. (SLT meetings are at 7.45am) The Salary will start at 65k, however there could be room to pay more for the right person.
