Overview
Are you a Maintenance Engineer who wants to earn good money but also needs the time to enjoy it? Paying £40,000 without the need for being nocturnal, this job is looking for the very best. Are you a family orientated person who likes to be at the dinner table every night or do you enjoy watching weekday evening football or being able to pop out and meet friends on a Saturday night? If so, the shift pattern here is absolutely perfect. Four days on followed by four days off, you'll only work half the year. We have an on-site gym (which is fully kitted out and one of the best about) so you'll never have to queue for the weights at your local gym and you'll also never have that 'it's too far out of the way from home and work to go' excuse like I do… The holidays are great too, boasting 20% more than the minimum, with a 10% pension and an annual bonus of up to 10% of your salary (Keeping the whole team motivated to do their very best at all times) We have one of the best retention rates for staff, we're recruiting through growth and are constantly investing in research, development and new ideas. As well as a winning mindset and a progressive attitude, you'll need to be Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or Apprenticeship served in either a mechanical or electrical discipline (They're hiring for one of each). With at least 2 years' experience as a Maintenance Engineer maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery as a Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You'll need to be more than comfortable changing bearing straps, belts, chains if you're Mechanical. If you come from an Electrical background you will have worked with 3-phase motors, contactors, relays and will have the ability to read electrical drawings- PLC knowledge is advantageous.
