Overview
We are looking for an immediately available Financial Controller to support a central London based media agency for an initial 6-month period. Sitting within the FP&A function, this role is essential in supporting the day to day finance and management accounting for several of the agency’s brands. Key responsibilities: Take responsibility of the accounting and financial control of 4 subsidiaries Review and finalise monthly management accounting for revenue, costs and expenses, accruals and prepayments, for multiple brands within tight deadlines Management review and approval of payroll Be responsible for the P&L and Balance sheet reporting Completing statutory accounts for 2 smaller brands Lasing with auditors Deliver improvements highlighted by internal or external audit teams management and ownership of the cost accounting processes for our centralised cost centres to drive process improvement and create efficiencies Support Director of FP&A with any ad hoc tasks Key requirements: Over 3 years post qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Immediately Available Statutory Accounts experience necessary Proven track record of process improvement in a complex environment Impeccable attention to detail Excellent IT skills and good levels of Excel knowledge Able to deal with ambiguity and change and a willingness to collaborate Trace is an innovative recruitment consultancy.
