Overview
Eden Brown is currently working with an independent public body to recruit for a Digital Service Architect. This role is within IR35 and based in London. Key responsibilities of the Digital Service Architect: œ Provide a coherent technical strategy based on their experience and analysis of Digital needs œ Devise a full documented technical architecture for the Digital Platform œ Ensure reliable operation of the legancy system until it is fully deprecated œ Work on the alpha/beta phase of the replacement service œ Work on data migration from the legancy to the replacement service if required œ Assist with team development to ensure that the organisation has a sustainable model to allow them to own and maintain overall service without recourse to rigid, long-running and expensive procurement-model contracts Essential knowledge, skills and experience for the Digital Service Architect: You will have experience of: œ working in an Agile environment œ Good knowledge of GDS best practice œ working in a team using GitHub œ client-side JavaScript (in modern web browsers) œ server-side JavaScript (Node.js) œ serverless architecture, in particular Google Cloud and Firebase œ Single Page Applications, in particular Vue.js or React œ JavaScript testing frameworks, in particular Jest If you feel that you meet the above requirements, please email Shrishti - Eden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
