Overview
An industry-leading organisation (based South of Leeds) is looking for an experienced Head of IT to lead and execute their IT strategy. This role would suit a charismatic, Head of IT used to promoting and enabling change. You will play a major role in delivering of the IT strategy, and be able to gain the buy in of a diverse, Senior Management Team. You will make sound business decisions in a complex and challenging environment and comfortable presenting to executive stakeholders as well as technical teams. The role leads a diverse team, dedicated to supporting niche applications, infrastructure, and desktop services. However, the focus for the first 6-12 months should be on driving transformation and formalising the IT function. To succeed in this position, you will focus on building on the existing/future IT strategy, be comfortable making key infrastructure decisions and have a strong understanding of Service delivery & Information Security Frameworks.
