Overview
The role is primarily managerial, though some ground-modelling, surveying and GPS machine control set-up work will be required. There's pre and post contract involvement, working with both estimating and operational teams. Experience with LSS survey software is essential. As regional engineer you would be expected to: PRE-CONTRACT STAGE Manage procurement of ground modelling, for earthworks quantification using external support (and carry-out personally, where necessary) Assist estimating team with earthworks quantification Manage flow and storage of technical information, drawings, ground models etc. CONTRACT STAGE Ensure up to date drawings & ground models are issued to site Managing ground-modelling and GPS machine control set-up using existing external support (and personally, when necessary) Communicate with site managers and engineers to ensure all necessary survey data is being recorded Manage the flow and storage of survey data to/from site Periodic ground-modelling and quantification to inform project team of progress and assist with planning Provide drawn-up survey records Calibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
