Domestic/Commercial Gas Installation Contract Manager
Overview
Clairglow Heating is a well-established M&E contracting company based near Sevenoaks, Kent. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a full time Domestic/Commercial Gas Installation Contract Manager to join our Commercial Contract Team. Job Role In this position you will take full responsibility for a number of commercial/domestic heating contracts for both private and social clients. You will be responsible for the management of the delivery of projects from start through to completion. This is a highly responsible and rewarding role where you will have a real impact in the future growth and success of the business. This role would therefore suit an experienced Commercial/Domestic Gas Installation Contract Manager who holds relevant and current Gas qualifications/experience. Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Managerial experience at Contract Management level within a technical environment. Knowledge and an ability to refer to applicable industry standards such as Gas Safety, IGEM standards, British Standards, CIBSE and an understanding of the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. Ability to scrutinise designed schematics. Minimum 3 years experience in the commercial gas field. Experienced in managing contracts delivering technical services. Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead with clients and sub-contractors. Demonstrable experience of working well under pressure and of working flexibly to manage competing priorities. Accountabilities: Reporting to the Commercial Director you will have responsibility for the management of the delivery of projects allocated to you, in accordance with agreed management procedures; the clients brief; project timescales; approved budget and to the best quality standards. To effectively manage resource requirements such that the key contract deliverables are met. Manage key Projects from cradle to completion including supporting resources on the ground, working closely with site Supervisors. Management of sub-contract labour requirements in order to effectively resource projects. Maintenance and correlation of all records, files and incoming documents, ensuring databases are kept up to date and the project is kept within budget. To ensure specifications are adhered ensuring contract compliance. To produce and provide regular reports to senior management from agreed programmes.
