Business Analyst Cheshire Must hold a full Driving Licence- UK Travel required - 30/40% We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced technical business analyst to join a reputable and innovative company based near Cheshire and North Wales location. We are looking for an Individual with the following experience; information technologies and applications like ERP, SQL and experience in multinational project management, network and system platforms and Support development and testing software for Production and Management. MES Analyst will be working alongside a team of IT experts. Responsible for developing, supporting, testing, resolving and documenting the MES applications used within the company manufacturing locations. Focus on the Apriso platform but would also support other MES inhouse products within the business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support and Development and testing of easy to use software for operators and Management Project Management - Deliver professional support to the wider business finding efficient solutions for complex requests Working on Multiple large IT, Networking and Production projects across the business - Inline with boundaries given by a bigger system like APS. Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 plus, SSRS (SQL server Reporting Services Design and execute test plans for the developed solutions, including user acceptance testing IT infrastructure project support Work with and guide the external consultants in support cases as well as in projects and ensure "best cost best value" for the group Operations Management - Following Company guidelines for documentation requirements. Generation of necessary specification, configuration, testing and training documents. Operations Management - Support the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, of the MES solutions used within the group Support development teams in code review, manage change and deploy updated solutions across the implemented MES environments Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language working with an international team Ability to effectively prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment KEY ESSENTIALS Experience in Business Analyst role is key Experience in information technologies and applications like ERP, Manufacturing, multinational project management, network and system platforms Professional development skills in Microsoft environments Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 (or newer) Project Management Securely access and use SQL Server 2016 (or newer) Measure Performance of Software (i.e. using Redgate SQL tools, MS Visual Studio) ITSM Helpdesk Sharepoint Wikipedia system Microsoft Office applications Microsoft software Development and SQL Queries, Stored Procedures and Functions Proven knowledge of systems develop This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89777043
