Overview
We have an exciting position for a Business Analyst to join a prestigious law firm based in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with the business to identify, document and manage the business needs for solutions to business problems and new initiatives. To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials: Proven experience with business and system requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping (using BPMN), methodology development, data modelling and wire frames Experience of producing Use cases, User Stories, Activity diagrams Experience documenting Acceptance Criteria using MoSCoW Able to undertake several analysis engagements, of multiple sizes, concurrently Ability to apply statistical and other research methods into systems issues and products Experience of working under a formal project delivery methodology – Waterfall or Agile Good understanding of finance reporting and transactional finance areas The purpose of this role is to form the bridge in communication between the business and technical teams, to ensure both solution and expectation are delivered as agreed and help the business see the 'bigger picture'. Within this position, you’ll also be: Reviewing and analysing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and where appropriate, document the ‘As-Is’, ‘To Be’ and ‘Gap’ Assessing the business implications of proposed changes, identifying complementary/contradictory requirements across the business Preparing and delivering reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in operating systems across the organisation Assisting in conducting research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts Translating complex business, finance and technical issues into understandable concepts for all audiences Working closely with the Development Team to develop storyboards and/or proof of concepts based on customer requirements Working with the Project Manager, assist in the planning, design, development, testing and deployment of all new applications, and enhancements to existing applications Assisting in developing, standardising, and maintaining processes within the BA function Salary & Working Hours Salary is £42,000 - £47,000pa Working hours are Monday – Friday Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.
