Overview
Information Security Analyst - FinTech - Policy & Process A leading FinTech start up are looking for a strong Information Security Analyst to join their growing and hugely successful team. Your GRC skills will be called on in this role, with the ever changing policy landscape across Information Security it is vital you are keen to remain on top of the new developments in this area and come up with creative and engaging ways of sharing these new processes across the business. This is a FinTech business so there is a little more to this role than meets the eye, you will be interested in the more technical end of GRC and Technology policy with a desire to automate Efficiency is the key thing here, this organisation don't want someone who is going to copy/paste the same info over and over again when a macro or short script could do the job for you. Key Duties: Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining an Information Security Management System (ISMS) Take control of the Information Security Policies and Procedures and ensure they stay relevant within a growing organisation. Support the business in data protection exercises Support in the execution of privacy impact assessments Third party security risk assessments and third-party reviews. Enhance and maintain compliance programmes for regulator and compliance frameworks Coordinate reviews in line with our security frameworks Liaise with the technology landscape and assist with the continuing compliance of vendors across the estate Conduct and champion Security Awareness activities Automate Utilise technology to improve security efficiency within the organisation. You will have a demonstrable background working in the Information Security arena with a clear and developed knowledge of information security principles and practices. You will be familiar with all of the relevant frameworks - OWASP, NIST and ISO27001. A key part of this role is the ability to articulate technical information in a way non technical people can engage with. You need to have passion and be interested in developing creative ways of sharing updates demonstrating the "why" behind the policy and processes within Cyber/Information Security. You will be a self-starter, in a fast paced startup you will be expected to be able to manage your own time and be pro-active. An understanding or strong desire to learn how to script/code (Python, Java, Ruby, Bash etc) is essential, this is FinTECH after all.
