Overview
This large fire engineering company require a Product Engineer to provide comprehensive engineering support to the Product Engineering, Evaluation & Approvals Team as a Consultant Engineer for product certification and approval based out of their offices in Central London. Responsibilities for this role will include; Researching, drafting and preparing documentation and reports for the design, testing and approvals of products (e.g. engineering assessments, Field of Application Reports), Correspondence, liaison, attending Client meetings, site surveys, committees and fire resistance testing, with appropriate use of PPE as required, as well as managing product design and development programmes. This interesting position comes with a basic salary to £60,000 plus 25 days annual leave and package. As well as excellent communication skills and a background in fire resistance testing applicants will need to have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ideally be educated to BSc degree level.
