Salaried GP, Glastonbury, £11,000 per session ( relocation allowance) An exceptional opportunity has just become available for a committed and motivated Salaried GP to join an outstanding practice 10 miles south of Glastonbury. There is a well-managed work load on offer and the GP's are well supported by a strong clinical and clerical support team. Key Benefits Very manageable and easy workload Relocation allowance (financial) More study time than the BMA guidelines Very family friendly Have a special clinical admin team dealing with reducing GP workload 10 mins from lovely old towns Sherborne - which has some of the best schools Remote access sessions available (very innovative) Breakdown of the practice: 15,000 patients 4 Partners 1 Salaried GP 2 Locum GPs Full supporting nursing team – including ANPs 8 HCA’s Paramedics Acute care team does all home visits not GPs Full supporting admin and reception team EMIS Web Practice Manager on site Minor surgery performed Regular clinical meetings Typical set up of the GP’s day: 13 appointments in the morning 11 appointments in the afternoon Time allocated for administration On call rota Home visits primarily performed by ECP and paramedic. GPs to do palliative visits on their own P/T list only if required During the Covid - 19 outbreak the practices Medmatch are working with will be running a triage model – face to face consultations will be very rare and may be non-existent in most cases.
