FitzRoy are pleased to be recruiting for our new Supported Living service in Dartford which provides care & support for 10 residents with learning and physical disabilities. We are seeking exceptional new support workers to join our friendly team– could this be you? Vacancies available: Set day rate of 8.97ph Full time (37.5), part time (various) - guaranteed hours available, bank (0) hours Flexibility required however typical shifts are 0730-1500, 1430-2200, 2145-0745 with weekend working & sleep ins required For this role it is essential that you hold a full driving licence & be willing to drive our accessible vehicle. A support worker’s day is varied and flexibility is required. You will be providing care and support individually tailored to the needs and wishes of people with learning disabilities. Through getting to know the people you support, you will identify and work with them to achieve their goals, enabling them to have choice and control over their lives. You will also be expected to carry out everyday tasks including support and encouragement with personal care as well as taking part in a range of interests and activities that make up a healthy, well balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. Night duties include supporting night time and morning activities including personal care, domestic work and responding promptly to provide support as required throughout the night.
