Overview

If you are a Finance Manager looking for a new and challenging role within an organisation where you can make a real difference, then this might be the role for you We are currently looking for a candidate with strong business acumen and proven experience of managing the day to day financial function. The successful candidate will hold a professional accounting qualification (ideally CCAB). The main duties of this role will include but are not limited to: Provide effective management and financial accounting, promoting the best use of resources Provide robust financial information in order for stakeholders to make the best decisions for the sustainability of the organisation Production of accurate and clear Draft accounts Production of robust budgets and multi-year forecasting Develop and continuously improve robust and effective financial procedures Work closely with external Auditors Provide clear financial analysis that supports projects, including financial models and business cases Ensure the effectiveness of processes for payroll and pensions processing Supervise and mentor members of the team, setting performance objectives as necessary The successful candidate will: Hold a professional accounting qualification (ideally CCAB) Have excellent interpersonal skills through both written and verbal communication Ability to interpret financial information for non-financial stakeholders Working knowledge of accounting systems as well as good excel skills Please note: Previous experience working within the Housing or Charity sector is desirable but NOT essential.
