Overview
Project Manager – Apprenticeships Faculty of Apprenticeships and Work Based Learning Salary £25,592 - £31,191 37 hours x 52 weeks The Sheffield College Reporting to the Vice Principal for Apprenticeships and Work Based Learning, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of driving and improving the planning and delivery of national apprenticeship training for large Levy paying organisations. The position of Project Manager - Apprenticeships will ensure that the apprenticeship provision across the Faculty for Apprenticeships and Work Based Learning continues to improve in quality, whilst meeting the needs of employers and developing a curriculum offer that continues to build on the College’s improvement and growth strategy. This will in turn enable the continuous raising of standards and drive a positive culture of high aspirations to improve the learning experience of all apprentices. The apprenticeship provision has experienced significant growth over recent years in Construction and Engineering, with the delivery of national contracts with large Levy paying employers and an increase in the College’s sub-contracting portfolio. The purpose of the role is to manage large apprenticeship training contracts with Levy paying employers and build partnership/client relationships, for the successful delivery of apprenticeship training to meet the employer needs. This includes the responsibility for the planning and implementation of apprenticeship training contracts, ensuring that the correct level of resource is mobilised to manage, administrate and deliver, in order to meet the need of the employer. The new senior leadership structure will provide a career pathway to progression within our Faculty structures, whilst ensuring that as a practitioner you are at the cutting edge of apprenticeship delivery.
