Maintenance Technician - Mechanical Are you mechanically oriented with experience in service, repair and/or maintenance of production machinery or equipment? We have a great opportunity based in Armagh to earn a generous salary with progression opportunities for the successful Maintenance Technician Company : Growing from strength to strength every year, this Armagh based manufacturer has a large turnover in the multi-millions and a growing headcount. Established for several decades, with a growing portfolio of clients in a variety of industries including food and beverage, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and heavy industry, our client is expanding and seeking to add headcount to their successful team. With opportunities to earn a generous package, and become part of reputable business with progression plans, this is hard to pass by Role: The successful Mechanical Maintenance Technician based in Armagh will be tasked with: Production line maintenance focusing on both planned and reactive maintenance on the workshop floor. Respond quickly and effectively to any mechanical faults and breakdowns on production line machinery. Aid production line machinery efficiency and improvement through continuous improvement efforts. Carry out all work in line with company regulations, and a focus on health and safety. Person: We are looking to speak to candidates who have a strong mechanical background e.g. trade/qualification such as mechanical engineering, mechanical fitter, mechanics, mechanical service etc. Previous experience in a mechanically focused maintenance/service role within manufacturing is desire either in a field or workshop capacity is advantageous. Prior experience working with production machinery is advantageous.
