Overview

My client is an NHS trust based in Central London. They are looking to recruit a Band 8B Finance Manager on a permanent basis. Your new role The Finance Manager will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive financial management services within the trust which will encompass all programmes and projects under the trust's remit. The role will be concentrating on, but not limited to, the two new programmes and the post holder will be required to work with the Home Office finance function to ensure alignment of the various programmes. This is a highly complex project with numerous stakeholders and the needs of all need to be taken into account. The scope is large across England and includes working with a large number of stakeholders to replace the current financial model. The core functions of the role are, but not limited to: Lead the management of the in-year financial position of the Programme; Prepare and publish the monthly Finance Report; Lead the Financial Management team; Support the development of the Finance Analysts; Support Project Managers in the forecasting process; Support the Head of Finance with the annual budget setting process Essential requirements A fully qualified Finance Manager is required to ensure the programme meets its financial objectives, ensure financial governance and to provide support to the individual trusts on finance related matters ensuring wide stakeholder engagement. Staff management experience is essential. Public sector finance experience is essential, NHS experience is highly desirable. Salary and benefits package This is a Band 8B role, the salary on offer is 53,168 - 62,001 per annum (dependent on experience) 7,000 London weighting allowance.
