Job description: Senior Mechanical Engineer Based Beddington Since it was established in 1951, Murphy has been keeping the heart of a country beating with power and energy engineering expertise. Our capabilities range across traditional power, new nuclear and renewable energy areas. Our engineers provide a cost-effective, one-stop shop in the management, design, installation and maintenance of solutions in transmission and distribution of energy, where we are highly experienced. We have a highly successful and nationally established infrastructure for delivering complex power systems, where we engineer project solutions on a complete and bespoke basis. Our success has been built on repeat business from all the UK’s major transmission, distribution and rail operators. An experienced Mechanical Engineer is required for Beddington project and to oversee all Power substation projects. You will be fully qualified, technically competent, and have significant substation experience gained in a 1sdt tier contractor environment. Ambitious, you will want to continue to learn and develop, and to take the lead on some significant projects within the group.
