Overview
Quality Assurance Assessor The role is to ensure that projects are delivered to meet the requirements of the business and in line with relevant safety legislation processes and specifications including compliance with G17, NGN technical specifications ,materials certification ,databook compilation and accuracy . Description Demonstrate knowledge and experience of quality assurance on a range of gas assets across all pressure ranges and asset types from low pressure through to high pressure including meters, electrical and instrumentation, mechanical(pipes and valves etc.) and cathodic protection. Understanding of appropriate legislative requirements, company policies technical standards and procedures Excellent communication skills, providing the ability to support /communicate NGN Project Leaders , Asset Staff and effectively develop working relationships with Contractors and suppliers. Working practical knowledge of NGN technical standards and quality assurance procedures Ability to develop and mature a positive culture with internal staff the Contractors Stakeholder internal/external NGN Project management ,Investment Leads and Asset Management Design Consultants, Main Works Contractors & Sub Contractors Materials and goods suppliers Description Essential/Desirable Ideally educated to degree standard in a relevant discipline but will consider HNC/NVQ Level 4 or equivalent Ideally supported by recognised training or qualifications in gas transportation quality assurance . Demonstrate technical knowledge and experience of successful quality assurance compliance on a range of gas assets across all pressure ranges and asset types from low pressure through to high pressure including meters, electrical and instrumentation, mechanical(pipes and valves etc.), gas holders, district governors and cathodic protection. Understanding of appropriate legislative requirements, company policies and procedures The ability to support and encourage safe working behaviours and practices through quality assurance
